Store Keeper
Role Purpose:
This role is essential for ensuring the proper organization and handling of goods, materials, and products within a store or storage facility. Below is a sample Junior Storekeeper profile:
Key Responsabilities:
Provide support in the management of proper storage and the release of supplies as requested.
Assist in checking the good condition of returned materials.
Support in keeping the inventory and records of stock, supplies, and warehouse equipment up to date.
Ensure, together with the rest of the team (Senior profile and Supervisor), the proper storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.
Ensure compliance with procedures by identifying discrepancies in the receiving and shipping processes.
Report any potential incidents to the Supervisor, as well as provide a daily report on shift operations.
Perform other tasks and responsibilities derived from the duties described above.
Working Experience & Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a warehouse, retail, or inventory management role is a plus.
Familiarity with safety standards in handling and storing goods is an advantage
Good numeracy skills for stock counting and record-keeping.
Profiles located in Cataluña are a plus.
Skills, Knowledge & Requirements:
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in stock counting, labeling, and documentation.
Organizational Skills: Ability to keep inventory systems and physical spaces orderly.
Communication: Clear communication with team members, supervisors, and customers.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move products safely and efficiently.
Basic Computer Skills: With inventory software or spreadsheets.
Teamwork:
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
