Formación

Responsibilities
  • Murex Application Responsibility: Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with business users and the vendor.
  • Works closely with FO users in the management and resolution of system issues.
  • Understands requirements to enhance existing functionality.
  • Resolves issues individually and delivers solutions meeting FO requirements.
  • Analyzes and resolves issues related to system configuration, P&L analysis, simulation views, static data, GOM, market data, market operations, EOD, pre-trade, etc.
  • Coordinates with technical support, other business support teams, and the Murex vendor as required.
  • Escalates issues/risks timely to IT and Business managers.
  • Provides detailed issue information to the vendor and coordinates testing of fixes/solutions.
  • Acts as an intermediary between business and vendor.
  • Performs routine administrative/technical tasks to maintain the system.
  • Works on small BAU projects to deliver extended functionality and enhancements.
  • Assists in resolving issues around system configuration, User Groups, Access Rights, Portfolios, etc.
  • Provides training to business users and helps them adapt to the Murex environment.
  • Prepares and sends periodic/status reports to IT/Business managers.
  • Ensures documentation and deliverables meet standards.
  • Works under pressure to resolve critical issues and meet project deadlines.

Support related to Front Office static data creation.

Works on change requests (RFC) and enhancements.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Murex FO experience with in-depth understanding.
Must-have skills/experience:
  • Product knowledge (asset classes: Rates, Commodities, FX).
  • Deal booking, pricing, events, e-tradepad & simulation issues.
  • Ability to analyze Market data issues, maturity sets, fixings, instrument configuration, PnL issues, payments, etc.
  • Basic accounting knowledge (rules, MTM, missing accounting data).
  • Strong communication skills to understand and convey business needs.
  • Configuration and static data setup for portfolios, counterparties, products, mappings.
  • Familiarity with Murex screens like OSP, reporting, and ability to debug/analyze trade issues, payment scopes, reporting, and interfaces.
  • Experience in system configuration, P&L analysis, simulation views, static data, GOM, market data, market operations, EOD, pre-trade, and other FO areas.
  • Extensive experience resolving system configuration issues.
  • Debugging skills.
  • Good SQL skills; familiarity with Oracle and/or SQL Server RDBMS.
  • Unix experience.
  • Experience working with Jira & Agile SDLC.
