An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Field-Based Medical Officer to join our company's expanding oncology medical team in Spain, specifically in Madrid, Galicia, or Asturias. As a global leader in healthcare, our company is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that enhance and extend the lives of cancer patients worldwide.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in one of the most dynamic projects in the pharmaceutical industry, supported by over 800 clinical trials across a variety of solid tumors and hematological malignancies, with numerous new indications set to launch in the near future. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to groundbreaking advancements in oncology while being an integral member of the national oncology medical affairs team, reporting directly to the Oncology MSL Manager.

What you will do :
  1. Develop understanding of regional and national oncology medical and scientific leaders, as well as the healthcare environment. Establish high-quality professional engagements centered on peer-to-peer exchanges of unbiased scientific information and collaboration through medical education and investigation projects. Design and implement scientific leader engagement plans, maintaining long-term collaborations with national experts and medical professionals in oncology.
  2. Act as a scientific expert and medical ambassador within your assigned area. Represent the company at external meetings, including international and national scientific conferences. Stay up-to-date on major studies, competitive products, and clinical data in oncology.
  3. Contribute to the development of oncology country medical affairs plans, focusing on implementing projects within the medical plan. Serve as a medical affairs representative within the cross-functional field-based company structure.
  4. Engage in in-depth scientific exchanges with healthcare professionals, leading to knowledge transfer initiatives and research. Discussions will focus on disease-related topics, scientific data presentations, and reporting clinical results, in accordance with regulatory standards.
What You Bring :
  1. A degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a PhD in Life Sciences.
  2. Specialization and/or clinical/research experience in oncology, hematology, or immunology.
  3. At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in similar roles.
  4. Experience in oncology, particularly in women's cancers, lung, GI, head & neck, GU malignancies, melanoma, or immuno-oncology.
  5. Strong scientific knowledge, including clinical research methodology and data interpretation.
  6. Fluent in Spanish and English.
  7. Proactive attitude, passion for oncology science, teamwork, and excellent presentation skills.
  8. Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and handle customer-facing interactions effectively.
  9. High ethical standards and business integrity.
  10. Willingness to travel approximately 75% with a valid driver's license.
