The project "Language and Literature of Rabbinic and Medieval Judaism" aims to study a corpus of rabbinic and medieval texts, focusing on underexplored aspects and recovering lesser-known cultural legacies. Additionally, the Women’s and Gender Studies Institute collaborates on multidisciplinary research in Women, Feminist, and Gender Studies, promoting research, dissemination, and international cooperation.
The specific project "Creation, collection and dissemination of knowledge in rabbinic and medieval judaism (CROSSROAD)" leverages extensive research in rabbinic literature and medieval thought, exploring knowledge compilation, transmission, and intercultural contacts across a broad temporal and geographical scope, mainly within the Mediterranean basin, from the second to the seventeenth centuries.
