Position: Professor Carlos Márquez González invites postdoctoral candidates to apply for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA-PF) in 2025 at the University of Granada. Applicants must comply with the Mobility Rule (more information about the 2025 call can be found here).

About the Institution:

The University of Granada (UGR), founded in 1531, is one of Spain's largest and most prominent universities, with approximately 54,000 students and over 6,000 staff members. It offers a wide range of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs across its numerous departments and centers. UGR has received the "Human Resources Excellence in Research (HRS4R)" award and is ranked among the top Spanish universities in various international rankings, including the Shanghai Top 500 and European top 200 universities.

Research Focus:

The Singular Laboratory of Nanoelectronics, Graphene and 2D Materials at CITIC, UGR, provides advanced infrastructure for fabricating and characterizing devices based on 2D materials. The lab includes a cleanroom with lithography tools, deposition systems, etching and characterization equipment. The project aims to explore the integration of 2D semiconductors, especially Transition Metal Dichalcogenides (TMDs), with silicon CMOS technologies, focusing on wafer-scale synthesis, CMOS-compatible processing, and contact strategies, leveraging state-of-the-art infrastructure and multidisciplinary expertise.
