Novanta Inc. in Barcelona, Spain, seeks a talented engineer to bring new motion control products to market while ensuring high quality.

You will develop and maintain multi-platform libraries with high level abstractions, diagnostics, and easy commissioning capabilities. You will collaborate with the Firmware team, apply advanced identification and tuning methods, and contribute to documentation and cross‑functional testing.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or related discipline.
• Minimum experience: 2+ years.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain Communication libraries.
• Develop and maintain Motion Control libraries and tuning tools.
• Develop and maintain GUI for servo-driver commissioning.
• Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet product requirements.
• Write internal documentation for Novanta Motion software platforms.
• Work closely with the Firmware team to improve Novanta Motion products.
