PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Development of Crop Sciences GEP Activities in Europe
- Sales and Customer Contract development
- Key Account Management as required
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading Sales and Development Activity
- Identifying existing and future market activities
- Identifying and approaching all sector customers and potential customers
- Leading European GEP business focus
- Attending industry events to promote SGS services
- Promoting the company's image, capability, and integrity to Product-line Customers
- Collaborating with the NR Marketing Manager on publicity and media distribution
- Seeking additional opportunities and offering new services to clients
- Finding new business and increasing revenue in this sector
- Innovating ways to deliver better service to the Regional Customer base
- Managing projects for clients requiring customized services
- Working with Crop Science Country Business Managers for consistent service delivery
- Collaborating with International Sales/Business Development Managers for a unified global approach
- Identifying gaps and working with management to explore new opportunities and potential acquisitions
- Promoting and implementing new service innovations
- Developing regional strategies and Business Development Programs
- Working with Study Directors and Country Managers to identify training and operational improvements
- Focusing on customer-centric service solutions
- Providing Key Account Management for designated customers
- Serving as a primary contact point for clients when needed
- Creating customized service proposals with team support
- Standardizing commercial approaches to Key Accounts
- Evaluating statistical data and presenting results to clients
- Representing the voice of the customer within SGS
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Additional projects as assigned by the Vice President - NR Agri Commodities / Crop Sciences.
Qualifications
PROFILE
- Over 10 years' experience in Crop Sciences / Consultancy / TIC Industry Commercial Roles
- Degree or Master’s level education
- Proven success in sales and business development
- Strong reputation with senior industry stakeholders
- Knowledge of GLP Crop Sciences Operations and Testing Requirements
- Leadership and People Management skills

- Proficiency in English; French, German, or Spanish highly advantageous
