Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe seeks a Methods & Tools Software Developer Engineer to build and optimize software for test data analysis. You will bridge the Spanish Analysis Community with the Ground Station team, shaping the future toolset and enabling cross-domain collaboration across Avionics, Mission, and Performance areas.

The role requires MATLAB/Python expertise, CI/CD with Git, and strong English skills, with Spanish desirable.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or related field with scientific computing focus.
• Strong MATLAB programming and Python data analysis experience.
• CI/CD with Git; Jenkins and Nexus desirable; Agile with Jira/Confluence.
• Excellent English; Spanish beneficial for local coordination.

Job Description:An opportunity for a Methods & Tools Software Developer Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space , Getafe (Madrid).The selected candidate will join the Data Processing and Analysis Development group within the Ground Station Team, as part of the Flight and Integration Test Centre. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining the software ecosystem used by Test and System Specialists to perform data analysis across key Airbus Defence & Space programs (including A330 MRTT, A400M, C295, Eurofighter, SIRTAP, and Eurodrone).In this role, you will act as a bridge between the Analysis Community in Spain and the Ground Station team, offering direct technical support across diverse domains such as Avionics, Mission, Performance, Handling Qualities, Powerplant, General Systems, Aerial Delivery, and Datalinks.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, implement, and maintain software tools used by Test Centre Analysis Teams to process and analyze test data.Collaborate closely with specialized Test Analysis groups to translate complex mathematical models into functional, efficient software tools.Shape the future technology stack for Analysis Tools by guiding the migration and integration of the current toolset into the new Time Series Analysis Tool Platform for Military (TSASM).Act as the main technical point of contact between the Ground Station Team and the Spanish Analysis Community, facilitating constant communication and specialized tool support.SKILLSIs your profile aligned to the following list of skills?
