This contract is part of the SOLAROPIA-CM-UC3M project, funded by the Community of Madrid through the Agreement-Grant for the encouragement and promotion of research and technology transfer at the Carlos III University of Madrid.

Tasks to be performed:

  • Thermal modeling under unsteady-state of the plant subsystems.
  • Global modeling of plant operation.
  • Operation optimization of the plant and integration in the electrical system.
  • 2nd year student of the Master in Industrial Engineering.
  • Programming in Python.
  • Advanced use of SAM (Solar Advisor Model).
  • Use of Thermoflow.
  • Previous experience in solar tower power plant projects (production and thermal storage).
