Fledge is recruiting for a lead ML Platform Engineer to join a high-growth European tech scale-up redefining sustainable, second-hand trade. You will own the ML platform and collaborate with Data Scientists to deploy scalable models.

The role requires strong Python, AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD experience, plus fluency in English and Spanish. Hybrid Barcelona-based role with cross‑team collaboration across Data Eng and DevOps.

Formación

• Production-ready ML platforms and pipelines experience.
• Strong Python, Git and CI/CD skills.
• Experience with AWS components and Kubernetes.
• Real-time ML architectures with Kafka.
• Experience with vector databases (OpenSearch, Vertex AI).
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Iterate and maintain the ML Platform; define the long-term vision and roadmap for MLOps.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to provide tooling for development, deployment and monitoring of models.
• Define and promote engineering best practices (coding standards, testing, CI/CD) within ML.
• Partner with Data Engineering and DevOps to align ML with infrastructure and data governance.
• Investigate and integrate new frameworks and tools (LLMs, real-time inference) to keep stack modern.
