Eviden is searching for a R&D Software Engineer to join our dynamic R&D MLOps Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of information and AI technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Build AI Solutions: Design, develop, test, and document software for AI and MLOps components that enhance the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of AI products, including Generative AI models.
  • Streamline Model Deployment: Prepare and containerize AI applications for seamless deployment using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring optimal performance in production environments.
  • Implement MLOps Pipelines: Configure and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with GitHub Actions, automating key processes from training to deployment.
  • Optimize MLOps Workflows: Develop and maintain robust MLOps workflows, including model versioning, monitoring, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting.
  • Document & Share: Write technical reports detailing methodologies, challenges, and outcomes of your work, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
What We’re Looking For:
Education

BS, Master, or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines.

Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience with Python, particularly in AI/ML contexts.
  • 3+ years of experience deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including AI/ML models.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with MLOps tools such as Kubeflow, MLflow, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with version control tools (Git/GitHub/GitLab) and best practices in software configuration management.
  • Advanced experience working with Linux environments.
  • English proficiency (B2 or higher) to communicate effectively with international teams.
Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have):
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning frameworks and experience working on Generative AI model deployment using vLLM.
  • Experience in data analytics and large-scale AI systems.
  • Previous involvement in European research projects.
Competences
  • Fluency in English.
  • Good writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong personal soft skills sets: Communicative, enthusiastic, highly collaborative, proactive, self-driven.
  • Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies quickly.
