Airbus Defence and Space in Madrid region is seeking a Stream-aligned Software Engineer (Military Derivatives) to join the Software Mission Systems Team. The role focuses on delivering high-performance software on Linux with C++, DDS interfaces, and Qt-based GUIs, in an international, cross-functional environment.

You will drive end-to-end feature delivery using trunk-based development and maintain software quality through comprehensive tests, while contributing to architectures, DDS data

Formación

• 5+ years of software development in high-performance applications.
• Strong C++ on Linux with Qt and DDS experience.
• Experience delivering features end-to-end in cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in English and Spanish, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain modern C++ software on Linux.
• Build data-centric interfaces and DDS-based architectures.
• Develop and optimize Qt-based GUIs (Quick, QML, Widgets).
• Deliver customer-facing features end-to-end using trunk-based development and value-stream models.
• Promote software quality through TDD with unit, integration, and regression tests.
