Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe (Madrid) is seeking a Software Developer to join the Mission Support Systems team, designing and developing Mission Planning solutions for programs such as A330 MRTT, C295 A/C and UAVs, across the full lifecycle.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team on requirements, software development, V&V, and delivery. A Computer Science Engineer degree and at least 3 years of experience are required, with advanced English and Spanish.

Formación

• Computer Science Engineer degree or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of software development experience.

• Advanced level in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).

Job Description

An opportunity for a Software Developer for Mission Support Systems has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Tanker and M&L A/C MSS Solutions Team, which is in charge of designing and developing Mission Planning solutions for different programs as A330 MRTT, C295 A/C and UAVs between others.

The jobholder will join a multidisciplinary team involved in all phases of the operational lifecycle from user requirements to final delivery including: documentation definition and management, customer requirements definition, system analysis, software development, V&V plan and execution, quality and safety processes ...

Responsibilities

• You will take part in the definition and implementation of complex systems as part of multiple international programs.
• You will be the designer and developer of Mission Planning solutions in .NET.

Skills

• Education: Computer Science Engineer degree or a related discipline.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in software development.
• Soft skills:
  • High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode.
  • Committed, proactive and a team player.
• Languages: Advanced level in English & Spanish (both written and spoken).
• Technical knowledge:
  • Object-Oriented Programming
