Formación

  • 5+ years experience in IT management, preferably in diverse groups.

RDM Group is looking for a Mill IT Manager to join the IT Team based in the mill in Mollerussa.

The Mill IT Manager is in charge of ensuring the regular running and security of the company’s IT and administrative environment.

Coordinates procedures in the IT department, supports departments, is responsible for driving projects, and is in charge of all technical-administrative processes. Improves work processes organization through EDP systems use, optimizes the company’s internal processes, minimizes costs through efficient data elaboration, improves users’ services, and updates the hardware environment. Coordinates relationships with external service partners and providers.

Accountabilities :

  1. Planning IT projects and systems, coordinating collaboration with different departments or external service providers.
  2. Developing IT general ideas, supporting company decisions to set and take advantage of information and communication technologies.
  3. Ensuring access to the internal network from anywhere at any time, in the presence of large networks.
  4. Supporting management within the information technology area.
  5. Organizing and planning user support, system assistance, and applications development.
  6. Setting IT standards and guidelines.
  7. Data structure, application, and technology development.
  8. Ensuring specific quality of work results, compliance with deadlines and budget limits, monitoring of performances and target achievement.
  9. Organizing and controlling work processes.
  10. Proper hardware and software selection, purchasing, adjustment, and introduction.

Requirements :

  1. Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  2. At least 5 years of experience, preferably in modern and diversified groups.
  3. Good knowledge of English; knowledge of Italian, German, or French is a plus.
  4. Ability to effectively set priorities and make responsible decisions.
  5. Independence and high work ethic.
