UST España & Latam is seeking a Mid Software Engineer specialized in Python and AWS for a remote position based in Spain. You will join a major client, a leading international bank, and collaborate across agile and non-agile teams with a focus on delivering value.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience, strong Python 3 skills, and a solid Linux background. You should be comfortable with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud services, plus English at B2 level.

Mid Software Engineer | Python & AWS | 100% Remote UST España & Latam Ibiza, Islas Baleares, ES

We are looking for a Mid Software Engineer specialized in Python and AWS with at least 3 years of working experience to join one of our main clients, a leading international bank. A high level of English is required.

Location: 100% Remote only in Spain

Main tasks and responsibilities:

As a Developer, you will work in agile and non-agile frameworks, facilitating workshops and events, as well as teaching and communicating with different organizational levels.

You will need to understand the current organization (AS-IS) and be able to operate in a transformational environment (TO-BE). You will encourage teams to improve their performance and maturity, focusing on delivering value to customers in a sustainable, iterative, and collaborative way.

You will have a high capacity for adaptation and change when dealing with multiple technologies simultaneously.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing high-availability software solutions.
• Defining best practices for development, automated testing, and deployment.
• Actively working on the optimization and efficiency of software development processes.
• Implementing timely KPIs and metrics to measure solutions.
• Ensuring software quality in both maintenance activities and new developments.
• Implementing software quality controls.

Mandatory Requirements

• +3 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Python 3 (Advanced).
• Medium knowledge of C/C++.
• Linux.
• Docker.
• Terraform.
• Unit Testing.
• Kubernetes.
• Jira, Jenkins, Git and Confluence.
• Cloud: AWS.
• Databases: Redis and Elasticsearch.
• English B2 level (mandatory).

Nice to have:

• Monitoring platforms (Grafana).
• Planning and process automation platforms.
