Position: Java Engineer (Microservices and AWS)

This is a 100% remote position open to candidates in Spain, requiring fluent English for effective collaboration with international teams.

Main responsibilities include:

1. Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, reusable software.
2. Embracing the DevOps mindset: "you build it, you own it, you run it".
3. Optimizing application performance and responsiveness.
4. Collaborating within a team and independently.
5. Engaging in the full SDLC, including QA and peer reviews.
6. Aligning with product management objectives and driving innovation.

Candidate requirements:

• Strong Java programming skills and API development experience.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, design patterns (e.g., SOLID), and testing types.
• Experience with distributed architectures (SOA, MSA), event-driven systems, and REST APIs.
• Relevant AWS services experience.
• Experience with Gradle or Maven, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies.
• English proficiency at B2+/C1 level.
