We are seeking a Mid QA Tester for a hybrid position in Málaga. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automation testing, with a strong focus on C# using Visual Studio. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through rigorous testing processes. You will be responsible for API testing using Postman, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues. Responsibilities

• Accountable for performing manual and automated testing of applications supporting business objectives while demonstrating independence in project analysis.
• Technically familiar with development concepts and formats such as Sql, Xml, Json and scripting languages.
• Provide input in prioritizing, estimating, and defining acceptance criteria
• Clearly define test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
• Provide usability and functionality feedback to developers
• Ability to build automated test scripts
• Plan tests and strategies according to the project
• Thorough and disciplined, ability to analyze a problem and weight severity of the issue.
• Dedicated worker skilled at collaborating in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Lead analysis for the purposes of developing test cases for websites, web applications, and infrastructure.
• Identify, log, and track defects early using defect-tracking tools.
• Perform hands-on manual testing while scripting automated tests to ensure application quality and increasing regression coverage.
• Perform validation of the releases
• Provides technical guidance to junior testers and other team members.

Experience

• Experience with programming languages such as Java, C# .Net.
• Experience with API testing and tools (e.g. postman)
• Experience in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver
• Experience in CI / CD technologies (e.g., bamboo, bitbucket).
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, automation, and operations
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to continuously changing technology.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum).
