Mid Java Engineer, Auto1 Finance (f / m / x)

Company Description

We are seeking a technically skilled Java Engineer located in Poland, Spain, or Ukraine to join our dynamic Software Engineering department at AUTO1 Group Technology. As part of our disruptive approach in the used car market, our team leverages cutting-edge technology to gather and analyze data, optimizing our platforms and processes.

AUTO1 Group is Europe's leading digital automotive platform. We revolutionize the used car market with our well-known brands Autohero, wirkaufendeinauto.de, and AUTO1.com.

Your new Role

1. Architect, develop, QA, ship, monitor, and maintain software throughout the entire development lifecycle in our service-oriented platform with currently 300+ RESTful microservices.
2. Utilize your experience, hands-on skills, and proactive attitude to solve complex problems.
3. Drive technological innovations to keep AUTO1 at the forefront of the industry.
4. Lead by example and mentor team members to push boundaries and excel.
5. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to meet high business standards and explore other technologies and fields of software development.

Your Skills

1. At least 3 years of professional experience in Java programming, particularly with Spring-based technologies and Java 8+.
2. Responsibility for your team and software is something you embrace.
3. Deep understanding of JVM architecture and operations.
4. Strong experience in designing and building RESTful APIs.
5. Hands-on experience with Spring Boot; ideally, familiarity with Spring Cloud.
