Evident Europe GmbH is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair high-end microscopy systems at customer sites across Spain and Portugal. You will ensure optimal system performance and high customer satisfaction through hands-on technical expertise and proactive support.

The role requires 2–5+ years of field service, strong electronics and imaging knowledge, and excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, with up to 70–80% travel.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Mechatronics or related field.
• 2–5+ years of field service experience, preferably with confocal microscopy.
• Strong knowledge of electronics and electromechanical systems; imaging and optics familiarity.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and customer-facing skills; ability to work independently in remote environments.

Responsabilidades

• Install and commission advanced microscopy systems at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system calibrations.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues; implement corrective actions.
• Provide on-site training and technical support to customers.
• Manage service schedules, parts inventory, and travel planning; maintain detailed service reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards; collaborate with R&D, technical support and sales when needed.
