The Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM, CSIC) is seeking a Cleanroom Engineer to join the Metallisation and Implementation Areas, working in advanced microfabrication and semiconductor processing.

You will operate PVD technologies, optimize deposition processes, participate in device fabrication projects, and collaborate with researchers on innovative R&D activities within Spain's leading cleanroom facilities.

Formación

• Bachelor's in semiconductor engineering or related STEM field
• Interest in semiconductor manufacturing and micro/nanofabrication
• Hands-on lab or cleanroom experience
• Problem-solving and critical thinking
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Initiative, autonomy, eagerness to learn
• Experience in cleanroom processing, PVD or ion implantation would be highly appreciated

Responsabilidades

• Work with metallisation and ion implantation in a state-of-the-art cleanroom.
• Operate and optimise PVD technologies (sputtering and evaporation).
• Participate in semiconductor device fabrication and tech development.
• Perform process characterization using advanced measurement techniques.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers on R&D activities.
• Contribute to innovation projects in process simulation and QC
