Candidates are expected to have a Higher Technician qualification and at least one year of relevant experience.

Your role

We are seeking a Laboratory Analyst to cover sick leave in the Microbiology department. Your main responsibilities will include conducting microbiological analyses of raw materials, semi-finished, finished products, packaging materials, plant systems (water and compressed gases), and environments in classified zones under supervision. You will also generate documentation for each batch, protocol, report, or risk analysis.

Daily tasks include :

• Microbial load testing on raw materials and packaging materials
• Microbial load testing on finished products before sterilization
• Microbial testing on non-sterile finished products
• Sterility testing of finished products
• Environmental monitoring in classified zones
• Monitoring plant systems (water and gases)
• Microbiological evaluation of antibiotics
• Inoculation and control of biological indicators
• Preparation of reagents, diluents, washing liquids, and culture media
• Fertility testing of culture media
• Reading of aseptic process validation tests
• Microorganism identification
• Validation of microbiological methods

Your profile

• Minimum Higher Technician training in Analysis and Quality Control
• At least 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of English for interpreting technical texts
