We are seeking a Senior MES Specialist with extensive experience in Ignition and Sepasoft to design, develop, and implement SCADA and MES applications. In this role, you will work on the digitalization efforts of medium- and large-sized customers across various industries, including food & beverage, automotive, life sciences, and aerospace. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality MOM solutions tailored to optimize manufacturing processes and support production efficiency.

This position combines expertise in software engineering, manufacturing operations, and customer engagement. While most development and testing activities take place off-site, you will occasionally travel to customer sites for deployment and implementation.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or related fields.
• More than 5 years of professional experience in SCADA and MES solutions (preferred Ignition and Sepasoft modules).

Core Expertise:

• Advanced proficiency in Ignition SCADA (Perspective, Vision, scripting, database connections).
• Hands-on experience with Sepasoft MES Suite modules (OEE, Track & Trace, Recipe Management).

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Python, Java, .NET, and REST APIs.
• Expertise in SQL databases (MS SQL, Oracle) for MES / SCADA integration.
• Familiarity with industrial automation protocols (OPC UA, RS232, XML).

Language and Travel:

• Native Spanish speaker and English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and own a car.
