Overview

This is a full-time hybrid role located in A Coruña, Spain, with flexibility for remote work as well after a trial period. As an MES Application Engineer, you will collaborate with our team of expert engineers to develop and implement Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications for our clients. Your responsibilities will include various aspects of MES software development, from requirement gathering to testing, programming, implementation, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Knowledge of MES/SCADA software development concepts and web-based architectures, at an academic or industry level.
• Familiarity with control systems, process automation, and related concepts.
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., .NET, Java, Python, or C#).
• Experience (or willingness to learn) in database design, management, and SQL queries.
• Fluent in English (Depending on your qualifications, this could become optional).
• Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment.
