TSL is a leading international technical engineering and construction partner. We are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in Spain, delivering complex Data Centre projects.

You will manage commercial aspects of MEP packages from procurement through final accounts, collaborating with Commercial, MEP, Procurement, Planning, Design, Construction and Commissioning teams to maintain strong financial controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, preferably with MEP packages.
• Good understanding of Mechanical and Electrical construction scopes and interfaces.
• Experience in procurement, subcontract management, valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction contracts.
• Ability to interpret technical information, drawings and scopes from a commercial perspective.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
• Confident working with subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Good level of English and Spanish.
• Experience in Data Centres, mission-critical or complex projects is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of assigned MEP Packages.
• Assist procurement with scope reviews, tender analysis and subcontractor recommendations.
• Review subcontract scopes for gaps, risks and exclusions before award.
• Prepare and manage subcontract agreements with Commercial and Procurement teams.
• Assess subcontractor applications, valuations and payments against progress.
• Identify and manage variations, change orders and additional works.
• Monitor costs, commitments, liabilities and forecasts for deviations and risks.
• Support cost reporting, cash flow and cost-to-complete forecasting.
• Collaborate with MEP and site teams on progress and changes and their commercial impact.
• Maintain records for commercial decisions and contractual correspondence.
• Support resolution of subcontractor commercial matters.
• Participate in package and project commercial reviews.
