GroupIPS, Madrid-based, seeks a Manager for Building Installations Engineering to lead the facilities team across projects. You will coordinate with architectural and structural groups to integrate MEP systems and ensure on-site execution.

You will supervise installation and commissioning, guarantee compliance with local and international regulations, manage budgets and technical drawings, and support health and safety on site while guiding contractors and staff toward project success.

Formación

• Engineering degree in Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical field with 7+ years as MEP team coordinator
• Solid knowledge of building systems design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, electrical circuits and lighting controls
• Experience in data centers or mission-critical projects is a plus
• Languages: English and Spanish; other languages a plus

Responsabilidades

• Lead the facilities team, coordinating staff, projects and clients, and coordinating with other departments within the group: architecture, structural engineering, etc.
• Managing and supervising building facilities projects, including mechanical, electrical, lighting, plumbing, sanitation, fire protection and other related systems
• Collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure proper integration of MEP systems within the project
• Supervising installation and commissioning of systems, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international regulations, safety and energy efficiency standards
• Prepare and coordinate budgets, technical drawings, and specifications, using project management software to document and coordinate work and Autodesk platform
• Inspect and analyze technical issues, propose solutions, and make design adjustments based on site conditions
• Coordinate and supervise technical teams and contractors responsible for installation of MEP systems
• Report to project managers and contractors
• Ensure health and safety policies on-site and assist in preparing documentation for permits and licenses

GroupIPS is looking for a Manager for the Building installations engineeringdepartment at one of the group's companies

Basedin Madrid, the candidate will manage the building services team within a groupdedicated to the design of building projects and will coordinate with thegroup’s structural and architectural teams.

Profile

• Leading the facilities team,coordinating staff, managing projects and clients, as well as coordinating withother departments within the group: architecture, structural engineering, etc.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Electrical, orMechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 7 years of experience as an MEP teamcoordinator. Over 10 years of total experience.
• Solid knowledge of building systemsdesign, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, electrical circuits,and lighting controls.
• Experience in data centers or similarmission-critical projects is a plus.
• Languages: English and Spanish. Otherlanguages are a plus.
• Experience in other building services(fire protection, acoustics, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge of specific software (REVITMEP is a plus).
• Coordination skills, initiative, andattention to detail.
