Job summary

The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS) invites applications for a full-time Research Engineer specializing in HPC memory systems. The role focuses on exploring memory architectures, profiling HPC workloads, and prototyping tools for AI-enabled systems.

You will work with the Memory Systems group, collaborate with industry partners, and contribute to projects involving HBM, DDR, and CXL memory expanders. Starting date is November 2026, with a competitive package and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: BSc, MSc or PhD in Computer Science
• Fluent English is essential
• Experience with Unix/Linux and profiling tools
• Programming in C/C++, Python
• Memory systems knowledge is a plus
