Descripción del empleo

To provide members and prospective members with the full range of products and services offered by Navy Federal Credit Union, including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificates, IRAs, revocable trusts, and estate accounts; lending products; and credit/debit cards. To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision and provide assistance/training to lower-level team members.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts and loans.
  • Assist members with submitting applications for consumer, mortgage, equity loans, overdraft protection, and credit cards.
  • Counsel current and prospective members about Navy Federal's products and services.
  • Ensure proper handling of cash and negotiable instruments.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and increase product penetration.
  • Perform platform banking functions.
  • Assist Level I team members.
  • Understand and comply with federal and other regulations related to financial products and services.
  • Assist with branch vault opening, closing, and balancing procedures as needed.
  • May serve as a branch and/or ATM vault custodian.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of savings and checking products, accounts, and services.
  • Willingness to participate in and complete specialized training (e.g., Business Services, IRA, MLO, notary) as needed.
  • Active listening skills to accurately respond to inquiries and account requests.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy, and tact.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in member/customer service, preferably in a call center, retail banking, or financial institution.
  • Experience working in a credit union environment.

Hours: Available Monday through Saturday, based on business needs. Part-time hours are typically 20-25 hours per week. Longer hours may be required during training.

Location: Command Bldg 1A, USNAVSTA Rota, Andalusia, 11530 ES.

Based on business needs, this position may require working at or transferring permanently to neighboring branches within a reasonable commuting distance.
