A leading company in healthcare services is seeking a Medical Services Specialist to manage customer inquiries and provide product information. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Swedish and Finnish and have previous call center experience. Medical Services Specialist

A customer-focused individual who serves as the primary resource for customers contacting the Information Center regarding products. The Medical Services Specialist utilizes healthcare experience and product/disease state training to effectively communicate specific product and/or disease state information via telephone, email, and written communication. The variety of subjects handled is extensive (e.g., product information, pricing, patient education materials, product quality complaints, adverse experiences, and more).

The Medical Services Specialist employs excellent communication and organizational skills while working independently in a call center environment. They must be able to build rapport with both internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining relationships while responding to inquiries.

Additionally, the Medical Services Specialist may contribute to outbound initiatives, making contact with customers to deliver specific product messages.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all customer inquiries to successful resolution
  • Provide product and disease state information, including off-label information within guidelines
  • Deliver world-class customer service and immediate resolution at first contact
  • Communicate messages, product information, and offers to physicians, healthcare staff, and consumers via outbound teleservice
  • Evaluate and escalate calls as appropriate
  • Respond to non-phone inquiries (e.g., email, fax)
  • Comply with industry regulations, including adverse event and product quality processes
  • Manage project work in a timely manner
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, medical, disease, and industry info
  • Record customer interactions accurately
  • Communicate issues, trends, and solutions within the team
  • Collaborate with team members to manage product, medical, and business issues
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in Swedish and Finnish (C1/C2), English (B2)
  • High standard of verbal and written communication
  • Previous call center experience preferred
  • Experience providing medical information to healthcare professionals preferred
  • Proficiency with IT, PCs, and databases
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make decisions
  • Good time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Education:
  • School completion with 3 years of training (university, apprenticeship, vocational)
  • Or 3 years of training in life sciences preferred
