Medical Services Specialist - a customer-focused role serving as the primary resource for customers contacting the Information Center regarding products and services. The specialist utilizes healthcare experience and product / disease state training to communicate effectively via telephone, email, and written communication. The scope includes extensive subjects such as product information, pricing, patient education, quality complaints, adverse experiences, and more.

The role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, working independently in a call center environment. Building rapport and maintaining customer relationships are essential, along with responding to inquiries and potentially contributing to outbound initiatives to deliver product messages.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage customer inquiries to successful resolution
  • Provide product and disease state information within guidelines
  • Deliver world-class customer service and immediate resolution
  • Communicate messages, product info, and offers to healthcare professionals and consumers
  • Evaluate and escalate calls as needed
  • Respond to non-phone inquiries (email, fax)
  • Comply with industry regulations
  • Maintain up-to-date product, medical, and industry knowledge
  • Record interactions accurately
  • Share insights on calls, issues, and solutions
  • Collaborate with team members on issues and best practices

Qualifications :

  • Bilingual in Dutch and French (C1 / C2) plus English (B2+)
  • High standard of verbal and written communication
  • Call center experience preferred
  • Experience in medical information and healthcare customer service preferred
  • Proficiency with IT, PCs, and databases
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and organize

Education :

  • School completion + 3 years of training (university, apprenticeship, vocational) or
  • 3 years of life science training preferred
