RightHand, a company specializing in digital talent acquisition and recruitment, is collaborating in the search for a Director of Sales & Business Development, a critical position reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). This role will be based in Madrid and will play a pivotal role in leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, and collaborating closely with product and IT teams to align services with market needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership and Strategy:
  1. Lead and manage a team of 9 sales professionals, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
  2. Develop and execute sales strategies focused on agency partnerships and direct clients.
  3. Oversee the achievement of sales budgets and revenue targets.
Business Development and Market Expansion:
  1. Identify new opportunities in data/adtech and propose innovative solutions to meet client demands.
  2. Work closely with the product and IT teams to ensure services are aligned with market feedback.
  3. Develop strategies for expanding service offerings and penetrating new markets.
Team Management:
  1. Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance performance and achieve targets.
  2. Organize and conduct regular team meetings, offering constructive feedback and support.
Client Engagement:
  1. Act as a key contact for high-profile clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  2. Represent the company in industry events and maintain a strong presence in the adtech community.
Requirements:
Experience:
  1. Minimum of 10 years in sales, with a proven track record in managing teams and meeting revenue goals.
  2. Extensive experience in the advertising sector, particularly with agencies.
  3. Hands-on expertise in business development, focusing on data and adtech solutions.
Skills:
  1. Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and guide teams to success.
  2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  3. Proficiency in English to effectively engage with global stakeholders.
Technical Knowledge:
  1. Familiarity with adtech and digital sales platforms.
  2. Insight into market trends and client needs in the advertising ecosystem.
