Lead Innovation in Medical Device Development

iVascular is a rapidly growing company with over 30 years of experience in vascular devices. Our founding team obtained a CE mark for a drug-eluting stent two decades ago.

We are seeking an R&D Project Leader to join our team in Sant Vicenç dels Horts, Barcelona.

As a key member of our team, you will lead the development of a delivery system for a medical device from design to production, testing, and regulatory submission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans using established methodologies.
• Collaborate with department heads to prepare project budgets and define resources for achieving objectives.
• Ensure the feasibility and technical quality of proposed solutions.
• Coordinate and implement product production processes.
• Research and develop improvements in product technical characteristics, quality, and costs.
• Define purchasing specifications and approve suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Industrial Engineering degree in mechanical, electromechanical, materials, or biomedical fields.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Previous experience working in R&D departments and with CAD systems (Solidworks, Rhinoceros) and Ansys.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
