At SQS, we are looking for C omputer Scientists, Telecommunications, Engineers, Data Scientists, M athematicians or Physicists with proficiency in both English and Spanish and an interest in developing in the field of medical software quality that incorporates artificial intelligence. The position is to join our office in Rivas-Vaciamadrid within the health area team (medical devices and pharmaceutical laboratories).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute validation protocols for AI algorithms embedded in medical devices
• Contribute to dataset curation, preprocessing, and statistical analysis
• Work closely with ML engineers, regulatory affairs, and clinical experts to align AI development with medical standards
• Document validation results, model traceability, and risk assessments in compliance with FDA, MDR, or ISO standards
• Support the deployment of AI models to embedded systems or edge devices (e.g., TensorFlow Lite, ONNX, Jetson)
• Write technical articles, give presentations, and conduct training sessions

Qualifications

Experience with at least one AI / ML framework : TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, ONNX, or OpenVINO

Solid programming skills in Python and relevant libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)

Understanding of AI model evaluation techniques and data bias / variance analysis

Experience in software development and testing

Familiarity with front-end and back-end software technologies, as well as development tools

Ability to work autonomously

Public speaking skills
