A leading professional services firm in Madrid is seeking an IT & Media Infrastructure Technician to manage their media infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong IT and server administration skills, expertise in video-over-IP technologies, and the ability to integrate AV automation systems. This role involves server management, network security, and collaboration with AV engineers. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Formación

• Strong experience with Linux administration and command-line tools.
• Proven knowledge of Docker container management.
• Hands-on experience with NAS solutions (Synology or similar enterprise storage).
• Solid understanding of Video-over-IP protocols (NDI, Dante AV, SMPTE ST 2110, RTSP, RTP).
• Experience with automation/control systems (KNX, Crestron, or similar).
• Networking knowledge: switching, routing, multicast, QoS, VLANs.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex AV + IT integrated systems.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for an IT & Media Infrastructure Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate combines strong IT and server administration skills with a solid understanding of video-over-IP technologies and AV automation. This role bridges IT and audiovisual workflows, ensuring reliable infrastructure for video delivery, storage, and control systems.

As an ideal candidate, you will feel comfortable in both server rooms and AV environments, capable of speaking both languages: IT infrastructure and video systems. We are looking forward to working with a hands-on problem solver with curiosity for new technology, eager to optimize performance and reliability across storage, networking, and video delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Server & Infrastructure Management
• Administer and maintain Linux-based servers (CLI management, updates, security, monitoring).
• Manage Docker environments for containerized services.
• Oversee NAS systems (Synology and other enterprise storage solutions).
• Ensure system backups, redundancy, and data integrity.
• Video-over-IP Systems
• Deploy and maintain Video over IP (VoIP / AV-over-IP) solutions.
• Optimize network configurations for real-time video transport (multicast, QoS, bandwidth management).
• Troubleshoot latency, synchronization, and streaming performance issues.
• Automation & Control Systems
• Integrate and manage KNX, Crestron, or similar automation platforms.
• Configure AV control workflows for seamless room and system automation.
• Networking & Security
• Maintain secure, high-availability networks for video and IT systems.
• Manage VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs to support AV and IT environments.
• Collaboration & Support
• Work closely with AV engineers, IT teams, and content creators.
• Provide documentation, user training, and Tier-2 / 3 technical support.

You will bring

• Strong experience with Linux administration and command-line tools.
• Proven knowledge of Docker container management.
• Hands-on experience with NAS solutions (Synology or similar enterprise storage).
• Solid understanding of Video-over-IP protocols (NDI, Dante AV, SMPTE ST 2110, RTSP, RTP).
