A leading media agency in Madrid is seeking a Media Development Team Leader to design media experiences across client portfolios. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of strategic planning experience, a strong media management background, and be fluent in English. You will be responsible for implementing media strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring overall campaign effectiveness. This permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative media solutions.

Job Description : The Media Development Team Leader is responsible for defining and designing media experiences. S/He implements the Mx Development process across a portfolio of clients.

Mission & Responsibilities

Create and deliver optimal Mx, defined as Connection x Context x Content.

  1. Work with Audience Architect to develop the growth target persona throughout the media experience, including planning tools, buying audiences, and addressable segmentation.
  2. Allocate budget across channels based on audience and objectives, in conjunction with econometrics and attribution specialists.
  3. Recommend the optimal content and context based on client, brief, and strategy.
  4. Deliver the overall experience and articulate how channels work together.
  5. Input measurement framework, including KPIs and methodology, in collaboration with specialists and Mx measurement teams.

Create and present Mx Story to clients.

  1. Create Mx guidelines in liaison with relevant internal specialist teams.
  2. Ensure quality control on plan recommendations against Mx delivery.
  3. Provide insightful post-campaign optimization.
  4. Contribute to client satisfaction.
  5. Ensure optimal Mx delivery.
  6. Ensure audience planning and data integration from Mx brief to Mx measurement.

Previous Experience & Industry Background

  • 8+ years of professional experience in strategic planning.
  • Experience in media and brand management.

Qualifications & Languages:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Advertising.
  • Languages: English (Advanced).
