The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Technician for the Mechanical Workshop to support research groups with design, prototyping and maintenance of mechanical setups.

The successful candidate will design components using Solid Works, fabricate parts with additive manufacturing and traditional machining, assemble experimental rigs and repair lab equipment, while keeping the workshop organized and safe in a dynamic, international environment.

Formación

• Prototyping and assembling mechanical components for experimental setups.
• Experience with additive manufacturing and 3D printing.
• Good English level to communicate in a multinational team.

Responsabilidades

• Design mechanical components and prototypes using Solid Works.
• Fabricate pieces using additive manufacturing and machining.
• Design and assemble experimental setups.
• Small laboratory equipment repairs, modifications and improvements.
• Organize the workshop: inventory, cleanliness and purchases.
• Operate 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLS and resin).
