Westinghouse Nuclear Spain SAU is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Instructor for the Almaraz Training School. The role is onsite at Almaraz and focuses on training personnel for PWR technology plants.

You will participate in all stages of training and apply your expertise to maintenance instruction across diverse environments. Ideal candidates have engineering degrees, pedagogical skills, and the ability to reside near Almaraz, with readiness for national/international travel and English

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering or related scientific-technical field.
• Pedagogical capacity for training.
• Willingness to reside in Almaraz or nearby.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Fluent English (B2+).

Responsabilidades

• During the initial training period, you will be qualified as a Mechanical Maintenance Instructor for PWR technology plants.
• Once qualified, you will lead training and conduct courses across classroom, plant, on-line and other environments.
• You will manage training and Consulting and Technical Support tasks for electric power generating plants.
• The role involves integration into a team with autonomy and strong collaboration.

About the role:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Instructor you will work for the Training School of Almaraz, tat provides services to the Almaraz's Nuclear Plant. This is a full-time job.

You will report to the Training School Supervisor and be located at Almaraz. This is an onsite position.

Main Responsibilities:

• During the initial training period, you will be qualify as a Mechanical Maintenance Instructor for PWR technology plants.
• Once qualified, you will work as a Mechanical Maintenance Instructor. You will participate in all stages of the training process (SAT), which includes analysis, development and evaluation training courses. These courses are for personnel at the Almaraz nuclear power plant, and personnel will conduct them in different training environments, such as classroom, plant, on line, and others.
• You will manage both training and Consulting and Technical Support tasks for electric power generating plants.
• The team will integrate you into a work team with autonomy, in constant communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Graduates of a Bachelors or Master's degrees in scientific-technical specialties like Engineering (mechanical, industrial, electronic, electrical, automatization and control, nuclear...).
• Pedagogical capacity for training.
• Availability to establish residence in Almaraz (Work Center) or nearby.
• Availability to participate in other Westinghouse projects in the domestic or international area.
• Driver's license and availability of own vehicle.
• We will assess the following:
  • Knowledge about Vibrations and balancing of rotary machines.
  • Knowledge about Nuclear Technology.
  • Knowledge about electricity and electronics.
  • Knowledge about managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video editing tools.
  • Knowledge about in digital environments.
  • 1+ years of experience in power plants or industrial facilities.
  • English level above B2.
  • Availability to travel and stay in national and international locations during participation in projects sporadically.
