A leading company in port and terminal management seeks a Structural and Mechanical Engineer to join their Global Asset Management team. This role involves critical responsibilities such as inspections, compliance checks, and project management, providing exposure to international projects and cutting-edge equipment.

Formación

  • Experience: 5–10 years in steel fabrication, welding, mechanical/hydraulic installation, and equipment maintenance.
  • Languages: Spanish (mandatory), Portuguese (a plus), and fluent English.
  • NDT certification (AWS, ISO 9712, or equivalent) is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

  • Conduct inspections and QA/QC activities on STS, RTG, RMG, MHC cranes, and other terminal equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with structural and mechanical standards during manufacturing, assembly, erection, and repair.
  • Manage on-site project execution, stakeholder coordination, and reporting.

Conocimientos

Strong knowledge of structural and mechanical systems
Ability to read technical drawings
Proficiency in MS Office

Educación

Vocational/technical education or Bachelor’s degree in structural, mechanical, or hydraulic engineering

As a Structural and Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in our Maintenance & Repair Services and Crane Advisory Service Agreement (CASA) projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting inspections and QA/QC activities on STS, RTG, RMG, MHC cranes, and other terminal equipment.
  2. Ensuring compliance with structural and mechanical standards during manufacturing, assembly, erection, and repair.
  3. Managing on-site project execution, stakeholder coordination, and reporting.
  4. Working globally with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational/technical education or Bachelor’s degree in structural, mechanical, or hydraulic engineering.
  • Experience: 5–10 years in steel fabrication, welding, mechanical/hydraulic installation, and equipment maintenance.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of structural and mechanical systems, ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Languages: Spanish (mandatory), Portuguese (a plus), and fluent English.
  • Certification: NDT certification (AWS, ISO 9712, or equivalent) is mandatory.
