Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Field Service Technician (Steam, Gas, Generator) to join Siemens Energy. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced technology and be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of energy.

A Typical Day:

Perform mechanical maintenance on large gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators across various countries. Ensure equipment reliability, safety, and quality standards.

Main Tasks:

1. Conduct hands-on mechanical work during maintenance and installation of turbines and generators.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
3. Collaborate with international teams to complete tasks efficiently.
4. Follow health and safety regulations.
5. Document maintenance activities.
6. Provide technical support and mentorship.
7. Be prepared for short-notice mobilizations for urgent maintenance.

Requirements:

1. Proven hands-on mechanical technician experience.
2. Experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators is highly valued.
3. Proficiency in English and ability to interpret technical drawings.
4. Willingness to travel and work worldwide.
5. Ability to work away from home for extended periods.
6. Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
7. Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
