A leading company, ATG Europe, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for Remote Handling in Granada, Spain. The successful candidate will ensure design compliance with industry standards, support interface management, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering and have at least 5 years of relevant experience in designing moving machinery or robotics. Proficiency in English is required, and on-site presence is expected four days per week.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for Remote Handling on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Granada, Spain. The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism.

Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).

The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to :

• Support interface management and requirement definition and validation, including performance, range of motion, load capacity, environmental conditions, and operational constraints;
• Support the development of the design to ensure that the design complies with relevant industry standards, such as radiation protection and vacuum compatibility;

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering (or similar);
• At least 5 years of relevant experience;
• Experience in the design and manufacturing of moving machinery or robotics;
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, software, safety engineers, as well as end users;
• Experience in the design or manufacturing of remote handling systems for nuclear applications is an asset;
• Knowledge of radiation shielding and decontamination is an asset;
• Experience in the implementation of virtual reality applications is an asset;
• For this position, on-site presence is required at least 4 days per week;
• Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
