Position Overview

Reporting directly to Head of the Mechanical Department / Project Manager, our future Mechanical Designer will have as main missions to carry out the mechanical design projects necessary for the assembly and installation of the machinery required by the client.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Capture, using a design program, the machine or facilities required by the client in a preliminary project, based on its specifications. Obtain commercial references. 45%
  2. Coordinate with the Electrical Designers and the Automata Programmers, the part that they must develop within the project. 5%
  3. Participate in meetings with the client to achieve validation of the previously defined preliminary project. 5%
  4. Break up the overall design of the machine to obtain the machining plans required by the machine or installation, to proceed with its subcontracting. 10%
  5. Load the breakdown plans and orders for commercial references into the Management Program, so that the Purchasing Department can proceed to carry out the necessary procedures. 10%
  6. Solve doubts regarding machining plans that external subcontracted workshops may have.
  7. Solve the doubts of the Mechanical Assemblers in the Workshop regarding the assembly of a machine or installation. 5%
  8. Update the plans of a machine with what was provided by the Mechanical and Electrical Assemblers. 5%
  9. Prepare the documentation that must be delivered to the client along with the machine or installation: plans, list of commercial references, list of recommended spare parts, preventive maintenance plan, etc. 10%
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  1. General Training: Higher Degree in Design in Mechanical Manufacturing or similar / University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  2. Specific Training: Design Software.
  3. Work experience in years: 3 years.
  4. Possible position for newly entered personnel: Yes.
  5. Areas of specialized experience required/desirable: Quality Suppliers / Suppliers Materials: Technical Documentation.
  6. English: Spoken: Basic, Written: Basic, Business: Basic.
  7. Computer Knowledge: Words, Excel, Autocad, Adobe Acrobat, Management Program, SOLID EDGE, CATIA, LASER TRACKER, ROBCAD.
  8. Competency Requirements of the Position:
