Job Title: Mechanical Engineer at Premium Fertility

Premium Fertility is an innovative biomedical company dedicated to transforming assisted reproductive technology. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D Department to contribute to our groundbreaking Transfer Direct System (TDS), a semi-automated medical device aimed at improving embryo transfer success rates.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

1. Mechanical Design and Optimization: Design and refine TDS components, select appropriate materials, and manufacturing methods to enhance accuracy, robustness, and usability.
2. Analysis and Validation: Use simulation tools like FEA to validate structural and mechanical integrity; participate in verification and validation processes, including durability and biocompatibility testing.
3. Transfer to Production: Define manufacturing and quality control processes; collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure cost-effective and timely implementation.
4. Change Management and Documentation: Maintain traceability of design changes; update engineering documents in compliance with ISO 13485 and MDR standards.
5. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Explore new manufacturing technologies and materials; participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to propose integrated solutions.
6. Technical Support: Support quality and after-sales teams in resolving mechanical issues; investigate non-conformities and define corrective actions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical simulation, stress analysis, and materials validation.
• Experience with manufacturing processes like injection molding and CNC machining.
• Ability to manage suppliers and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with medical device regulations (ISO 13485, MDR) is desirable.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• English proficiency (B2/C1) for international collaboration.

Previous experience in the medical sector is an asset. Salary will depend on the candidate's profile.
