Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Carrier is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Montilla, Spain. This full-time role involves product development, testing, and design activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Participate in product development activities, including feasibility studies, cost estimation, specifications, and design interpretation.
  2. Ensure all development work adheres to safety, design, and qualification standards.
  3. Optimize product and component designs to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
  4. Test models and processing methods to evaluate operating conditions.
  5. Create parts, specifications, and sketches for machines, systems, or work orders.
  6. Develop and manage bill of materials.

Minimum Requirements
  • Degree or technical knowledge in industrial, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in design or product engineering
  • Proficiency in 3D design software (CREO Parametric, Catia, SolidWorks, SolidEdge)
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (B2 level minimum)
  • Valid EU work permit
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in multinational industrial environments
  • Certification in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Systems
  • Knowledge of French language
