The successful candidate will coordinate maintenance and repair work for mining and civil machinery, ensuring optimal availability of equipment. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and have strong communication skills.

About the role :

Position : Mechanical Engineer for international projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Good level of computer literacy (Excel, Project and Word)
  • Effective and professional communication skills
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems Prior exposure to Mining and / or heavy equipment maintenance.
  • experience in mining machinery and / or civil works machinery.
  • International geographic mobility.

Duties and responsibilities :

  • Ensure the stocking of spare parts and coordinate repair and maintenance work for the equipment to optimize its availability.
  • Work along with the team of mechanics in the team.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Project Workshop Manager in planning the maintenance and repair work of the equipment.
  • Manage the warehouse, establishing and defining the minimum inventory considering the equipment condition and forecasts.
  • Request, follow up, and verify orders.
  • Ensure the correct storage of spare parts according to established internal standards.
  • Analyze daily machinery checklists to establish work priorities.
  • Prepare reports on the condition of machinery and equipment.
  • Pre-start meetings attendance.
  • Control waste management at the work site.
  • Disseminate and ensure compliance with the company's internal policies.
