In this role, you will contribute to the design of innovative flight vehicles, coordinate across engineering teams, and handle prototyping tasks. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree and at least four years of mechanical design experience.

Mechanical Design Engineer

European Tech Recruit are working closely with an exciting robotics company, based in Barcelona, who are looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities as Mechanical Design Engineer :

• Contribute to the mechanical design of a flight vehicle and its mechanisms, in every stage of the development process.
• Iterate and improve on the design of current models.
• Coordinate with electronics and software engineers regarding system interdependencies.
• Build and test prototypes.
• Participate in test flights.

Requirements :

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design and prototyping.
• Masters degree in mechanical engineering.
• Proficient in CAD software tools.
• 3D printing with various materials and methods.
• Design for CNC machining.
• Experience in composite and lightweight materials.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of thermal and structural analysis is a plus.
