Kudelski Security, a division of Kudelski Group, seeks a Security Analyst Level 1 in Madrid to join our 24/7 Managed Detection & Response (MDR) operations. You will monitor, triage, and validate security alerts, escalating confirmed threats while maintaining high-quality investigations within a multi-client SOC environment.

Based in Madrid, you will work a 24/7 shift rotation (morning, evening, night, weekends) reporting to the SOC Manager.

Formación

• 1+ year of experience in cybersecurity, IT operations, or a related field.
• Initial to intermediate exposure to SIEM and/or EDR/XDR platforms.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, security architecture, adversary TTPs, and MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Familiarity with incident response methodologies (NIST/SANS).
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and triage security alerts generated by SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, OT/ICS, and other technologies.
• Perform first-level incident analysis, validation, and classification following SOPs and playbooks.
• Escalate confirmed or complex incidents to Tier 2 with clear documentation.
• Respond to alerts and tickets within defined SLAs and document investigation steps.
• Adhere to security policies and protect customer and company data.
• Participate in shift handovers and ensure clear ownership of next actions.
• Communicate findings professionally to customers and route requests appropriately.
• Maintain correct priority, categorization, and documentation standards.
