Job summary

Internationalschools in Spain is seeking an Educational Specialist to join our team. You will plan lessons, prepare materials, monitor progress, and collaborate with the psychology department to support students with academic or behavioral needs.

You will maintain records, organize assessments, attend meetings, and engage with parents to foster an inclusive learning environment. A Bachelor's in Education or Psychology is required, with a Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related fields.
• Master’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons in advance and send plans via email to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare and organize the necessary materials for classes.
• Fulfill objectives outlined in general plans.
• Maintain the grade book up to date and enter grades on time.
• Design and prepare monthly assessments for each topic.
• Grade all assigned work.
• Keep classroom decorated with lesson-related materials.
• Collaborate with Psychology Department to support students with academic or behavioral issues.
• Support students with special needs, including gifted learners, with the Academic Coordinator and psychologist.
• Attend meetings with teachers, coordinators, and assistants.
• Participate in parent meetings and school activities.
• Record daily attendance and collect portfolio materials.
• Encourage student participation in subcommittees and open communication with parents.
