Globeducate International Schools’ Agora Barcelona International School, near Barcelona, seeks a Mathematics teacher for secondary-level instruction in English. You will design lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high educational standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field, a Master’s in Secondary Education Teacher Training, C1 English, and previous secondary teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics at Secondary level, planning and delivering lessons in line with the curriculum and the school’s educational approach.
• Design engaging learning activities and experiences that develop mathematical reasoning, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking.
• Assess and continuously monitor students’ academic progress, providing constructive feedback and implementing appropriate support strategies when needed.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other departments to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience.

Candidate Profile

• University degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or another relevant subject that qualifies the candidate to teach Mathematics.
• C1 level of English or equivalent is required, as lessons are taught entirely in English.
• Master’s Degree in Secondary Education Teacher Training or an equivalent teaching qualification that enables the candidate to teach at Secondary level in Spain.
• Previous experience teaching Mathematics at Secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain mathematical concepts in a clear, practical, and engaging way.
