Supernova seeks a Materials Engineer focused on developing, testing, and optimizing material-related processes for its VLM 3D printing technology. You will design experiments to study how solid loading, rheology, and curing affect part quality, with hands-on lab work and collaboration across engineering teams.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with polymers, composites, and particle-filled systems, and can translate lab results into scalable manufacturing processes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Materials Science/Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on lab or engineering experience with polymers, composites, or solid-loaded materials.
• Knowledge of rheology, particle-filled systems, and UV-curable materials is a plus.
• Interest in process development, experimental design, and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English in technical communication.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize material-related processes and printing parameters for industrial 3D printing.
• Design and execute structured experiments to understand material–process interactions.
• Plan and perform laboratory and printing trials, collecting and analyzing data.
• Characterize materials and printed parts to relate solid loading to performance.
• Support material preparation, mixing, handling, curing, and post-processing for highly filled materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new materials into printing systems.
• Troubleshoot process and material issues and implement quality improvements.
