HP is seeking an Analytical Lab Lead to manage daily operations of the 3D Analytical Laboratory, supporting materials research, process development, and product quality for MJF technologies.

This role combines laboratory leadership, materials characterization expertise, equipment management, quality investigations, and R&D support. The successful candidate will ensure laboratory excellence and deliver high-quality data to inform engineering decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Typically 2–4 years of work experience in chemistry practices, lab procedures or process improvement.
• Experience managing analytical lab operations, equipment, and workflows.
• Experience in experimental design, data analysis, technical reporting, and problem-solving.
• Experience leading technical projects and cross-functional engineering collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day operation of polymer and metal analytical laboratories, ensuring compliance, equipment readiness, documentation, safety, and efficient workflow.
• Coordinate laboratory priorities based on business, R&D, and operational needs with timely analytical results.
• Support technical staff, drive knowledge retention, training, and best-practice sharing across the lab.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, expand lab capabilities, improve methods, and evaluate new equipment or technologies.
• Support laboratory roadmap planning and investment decisions for equipment and capabilities.
