A leading aerospace company is seeking a Production Planner to join the team in Getafe. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, experience in assembly line planning, and negotiation-level communication skills in English and Spanish. Responsibilities include evaluating production requirements, defining scenarios, and leading production meetings. The role supports a hybrid working model and offers competitive benefits.
The position is part of the planning & scheduling department. Master Production Scheduling (MPS) contemplates the mid and long term planning (up to 18 months) for the Getafe Plant MCAs and CAs. Mains Constituent Assembly parts (MCA) and Constituent Assembly parts (AC) to schedule include: A320 HTP, A330 HTP, A350 HTP and A350 S19.
The MPS role is based on two principal aspects: MPS process and tool updates. The MPS process focuses on sustaining the routine that validates finite capacity planning (strong link to HO production). Tool updates focus on planning IT tools (APC Jaguar and SAP). Assembly production line planning knowledge is needed to design, calculate and implement different scenarios to be presented for validation.
Assessment and validation of programme updates (cascading for assembly) are part of the role. After simulating through MPS routines, conduct scenario studies for MCA & Elementary Parts when there are programme updates. The monthly MPS cycle is key in this position, enabling efficient decision making on resources, buffers, and priorities.
